Motor Village, Rond-Point des Champs Elysées.

Fiat’s brand new show-room, opening this July on the Rond-Point des Champs Elysées, will showcase the artwork of three Videospread artists, from the French Contemporary Art scene.

The works of Pippo Lionni, Guillaume Paris and Hugues Reip, specifically conceived and produced for this prestigious show-room and its cutting-edge technology, will be presented as of July and for one year.

Pippo Lionni, You Are What You Drive.

– “You are what you drive” by artist and designer Pippo Lionni, consistent with his use of pictograms, invites the public to interact with his animation and influence in real time the “stereotyped” drivers representing the six brands present in the show-room.

– Guillaume Paris’ 3D animation takes us on a ride in the “New Italy”, using images suggesting the cultural origin and diversity of Fiat Group. Refering to speed, sophistication, comfort, elegance and modernity, this ride is a unique and exciting experience in the world of Motor Village.

– Hugues Reip’s work, specifically conceived for a giant LED wall, takes us into the univers of tomorrow’s motorization, by the use of the liquid element and hydrogen bubbles that follow visitors up to the top floor, change color every hour of the day and explode as people go by in the stair case.

Showcasing contemporary art in an automobile show-room is definitely innovative and decisive in the relationship between a multicultural and visionary automobile group, and its public. Going beyond the simple relation of content to spectator/consumer, the images presented at Motor Village introduce Contemporary Art to a large public, by mixing cutting edge technology with well established contemporary artists.
